Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleanser Product Review

Updated: Nov 19, 2019

If you’ve not yet heard of #drunkelephant, then quite frankly, you’ve been living under a rock!

This much-hyped brand, founded by #TiffanyMasterson, is all about #cleanbeauty. None of the so-called #suspicous6 are present in her iconic range.

So we’re talking NO nasties like chemicals, dyes, alcohols, silicones, etc. They’ve practically created a whole new concept in skincare, which is being touted in the beauty space as #cleanclinical.

Is it worth the accolades, though?

Well, we tested their #Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleaner with the option to add a Bamboo Booster. And yes, we are LOVING the results. The innovative oil to milk texture literally melts every last trace of make-up away for supremely clean skin.

THE RESULTS...

A radiant and glowing complexion but one that isn’t stripped of skin’s natural oils.

All traces of dirt are effortlessly eradicated.

Skin feels sublime and squeaky clean and any subsequent serums and creams you apply to soak into the skin to deliver more effective hydration and moisturisation.

The addition of the ultra-fine bamboo and charcoal spheres of the Bamboo Booster is nothing short of genius. Simply use the booster twice a week to gently but effectively slough away dead skin cells and reveal beautiful and dewy, intensely nourished skin.

As a 40 something #skincareaddict, this product is an absolute must-have. It contains a wonderful blend of anti-oxidant rich ingredients including African macula, baobab, mongongo and Kalahari melon. If you love the skin you’re in, then do yourself a favour and try out this rich, hydrating cleanser for yourself.

We promise you won’t be disappointed.
